In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.

Review

Chances are if you are a fan of the Maze Runner saga you’ve been looking forward to the final film in the trilogy.

I’m glad to say that after a two-and-a-half year wait you won’t be disappointed as the Maze Runner: The Death Cure finishes the series with a bang.

Following on directly after the Maze Runner: Scorch Trials the action starts right from the first minute with an opening scene on a train that wouldn’t be out of place in a Mission Impossible film.

My only complaint is that at 142-minutes it does feel as the story towards the end becomes somewhat stretched, however that doesn’t detract from an excellent conclusion to an excellent series of films.

Highly recommended especially if you’re a fan of the first two films.
