Everybody Wants Some is a rambling film that sees characters that look as if they’re in their mid-thirties playing college students. The whole thing feels weird as middle age men drool over girls that look half their ages.

Written and directed by Richard Linklater, whose last film was the Oscar winning Boyhood, Everybody Wants Some is set in the 80's in a Texas College Campus and sees Jake (Blake Jenner), a freshman on a baseball scholarship, moving into a rundown frat house that's reserved for the college's baseball players. Jakes new housemates all fit into some kind of stereotypical picture of what a student, in an American movie should be, there's the ned, the cool guy, the drunk, the one that's not so clever, the ladies’ man the list goes on and on.

Set over the weekend before the students are due to begin their college classes on the Monday, the students do everything to excess on their last weekend of freedom. Linklater story rambles along with no particular direction as we watch the students’ partying like it’s the last weekend of their lives.
