From director Judd Apatow (The Forty Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up) Trainwreck stars American comedienne Amy Schumer as a 30-something self-confident female
called Amy who when told by her father at an early age that monogamy is dead makes it her life's work to live by her father’s rules.
After flirting in and out of so many relationship she loses count Amy, who is a sports writer for a New York magazine, is tasked by her boss, Tilda
Swinton, to write an article on a sports doctor (Bill Hader). Needless to say the pair become attracted to each other but as always the path of true love
never runs smoothly.
Trainwreck is funny and moving helped in no small part by a fantastic performance from Amy Schumer, who also wrote the screenplay. If there is one
complaint, it's that it does tend to stretch the thread bare story a bit long and could have down with been trimmed down somewhat. However it's a minor
quibble in what is otherwise a fantastic film, don't miss.
