BLISS, REBEL DREAD, LISTEN & THAT WAS A SERIOUS PARTY

Bohemia Euphoria, a new streaming platform and integrated social community, celebrates its groundbreaking first chapter with a compelling new range of carefully curated films, as featured in this new trailer.

A number of bold new features will be available on the platform from next month and throughout 2022 and include:

BLISS

One of the queer standouts from this year's Berlin Film Festival, the film by Henrika Kull tells the story of two sexworkers in a Berlin brothel who experience moments of happiness together in a harsh environment where the female body is a commodity. BLISS is a powerful love story about attraction, fear and self determination.

BLISS will be released on 24 December 2021 in cinemas and on Bohemia Euphoria.

REBEL DREAD

Directed by William E. Badgley, REBEL DREAD is a film about Don Letts, the legendary first generation black British filmmaker, musician and trailblazing raconteur. The film features interviews with Chuck D, Mike Jones and Norman Jay. The film is being released with the support of partners We Are Parable. REBEL DREAD played at Rotterdam International Film Festival and S.O.U.L. Fest.

REBEL DREAD will be released on 4 March 2022 in cinemas with special virtual events on Bohemia Euphoria.

THAT WAS A SERIOUS PARTY

THAT WAS A SERIOUS PARTY, directed by Dylan Harvey, is a feature length documentary that tells the life story of THE SECRET GARDEN PARTY music festival which started off as a small rave in a field with a few hundred people and ended 15 years later as a massive 35,000 capacity 4-day event.

THAT WAS A SERIOUS PARTY will premiere in July 2022 at the relaunched Secret Garden Party festival and will be available to stream on Bohemia Euphoria, with virtual special events also planned for July 2022.

LISTEN

Directed by Ana Rocha, LISTEN details the struggle of a couple whose deaf daughter’s wellbeing is put in jeopardy. The parents, who are a struggling Portuguese immigrant family, defy the British social services to keep their family together. The film received its World Premiere at the 2020 Venice International Film Festival, and this month Portuguese actress Lucia Moni, won Best Performance at Raindance Film Festival 2021.

LISTEN will be released on 13 May 2022 in cinemas and on Bohemia Euphoria with special virtual events on the platform.
